THERE is a traffic camera covering a box junction in Fulham that has raised £2.7 million in a year.
Just imagine cameras on the box junctions at Bridge Foot roundabout?
Either the council would raise millions or, preferably, the traffic would flow freely as people would actually try to avoid blocking three lanes.
Currently only London councils are allowed to use cameras for this purpose. Perhaps Warrington would be as well asking for a police officer, CSO or traffic warden to monitor the box junctions from time to time.
It could help prevent some of the horrendous gridlock that affects our town.
