Crafty pursuits

So for the past week or so, I’ve been decorating old shoe boxes to turn them into (hopefully) attractive storage boxes.

I’ve just painted the second shoe box today. My first one is pink and silver and this one is going to be brown and gold.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands, I don’t know. I like being creative and keeping busy. It gives me something to focus my energy on and when I feel like the world has me asking millions of questions, I have an answer.

I enjoy working towards something and seeing the end result. Just as I like knowing that whatever project it is, I can finish it and put my heart into it.

Sometimes, I think it’s good to turn off the computer, the TV and put your phone to one side and just focus on something that allows you to find some peace and quiet in your soul.

That way, you can face the world again when you have to.
