THE RFL has sent an official warning to Wolves star Chris Riley after yesterday's game against Harlequins.

The 21-year-old winger, who notched five tries in the season opener, has been warned for attempting to trip Harlequins winger Chris Melling in the 16th minute.

The RFL have also announced that Harlequins second rower Ryan Esders has been charged following a 'dangerous throw' on Wolves full back Richie Mathers in the tenth minute.

The Harlequins player faces up to a one-match ban when the disciplinary committee convenes tomorrow night.
