BEEN to the sunshine coast for a break!

Apologies for not blogging (even had complaints from friends in New Zealand that there were no updates).

Look at that pool. Felt rough after spending all day in the pool/hot tub and sauna! It was so worth it.

You might have seen that Brisbane has been classed as a disaster zone and in a state of emergency having had the worst storms for 25 years.

These disaster zones follow me around the globe, this is my fourth!

We are still having bad storms every night. Last night provided 8" of rain!

Another storm is due in the next couple of hours, it's been 33 degrees today, unbearable.

We went to Australia Zoo yesterday, Steve Irwin's place, wow its amazing.

We got to feed the elephants. Mine was called Bimbo. (I always attract the bimbo)! Don't tell the missus I said that.

The show with the crocs was fantastic, you can really see the message he was trying to get across.

I'm in the good books at home. I've found the ugg boots!!! Out of season, furry slippers. I searched Brisbane for them. I'm sure that's why she let me come over.

Going out for a few schooners with the locals tonight. Captain Larry (ex-boxing champ of Australia) and Graham (Quantas chief engineer pre-flight check - he's always got a beer in his hand whenever you see him, day or night - now that's worrying!!) Got tickets for the World Cup Final on Saturday morning.

If you know any Wolves fans that will be there, I'll be around the statue of Wally Lewis about 45 minutes before kick off for photos. Let's get loads of Wolves fans on a pic!

That's it for now.

I might come home next week.

Matt
