FOUR dancers have achieved unprecedented results after competing in the Cecchetti National Ballet Competition at Sadler’s Wells in London.
The students, from the Hayward Dance Academy in Culcheth, each received an accolade.
Principal Rachel Hayward said: “This is the first time students from the academy have entered this prestigious competition and I am so proud of their achievements.
“These students have worked tirelessly and with such enthusiasm and dedication.
“It has been a real pleasure for me to watch their confidence and ability grow.”
Lily Hope, aged 10, was overall winner and Hannah Hope, aged 11, received the performance award.
Megan Finn, aged 11, was runner up in her category, and Hannah Platt, aged 11, received a special commendation.
Ex-professional ballet dancer Miss Hayward opened the school in 2000 and has more than 80 students.
She teaches children and teenagers from the age of three to 18.
