Warrington Collegiate honoured the outstanding success of the Higher Education students at the biggest ever annual awards ceremony on Thursday 13th October. Over 600 guests attended the prestigious graduation ceremony set in the magnificent surroundings of St Elphins Church, Warrington.
The Higher Apprenticeship Award, sponsored by Warrington Guardian went to Nathan Higgins, studying who completed an HNC in Computing Systems Development. Kate Orr, Advertising Director, and Maureen Friday from Warrington Guardian were present to congratulate Nathan on his success. Nathan is planning on continuing studying to degree level. Delighted with his success Nathan says, “I’m thrilled to be chosen, it really is a great honour to be named Higher Apprentice of the Year. All the hard work is worth it; a big thanks to my tutors at Warrington Collegiate for the help and support.”
Nathan is currently working at Warrington Collegiate in the Management Information Systems Office with ambitions to continue his successful career and move into management in the near future.
