Funeral for marine killed in action

HUNDREDS of mourners paid tribute to Marine Steven Birdsall who always ‘strived to be the best’. Residents lined the streets of Warrington on Thursday to pay their respects and to clap for the 20-year-old as his cortege journeyed from his home in Great Sankey to St Elphin’s Church.
