WARRINGTON Wolves have been hit with injuries as well as bowing out of the Challenge Cup.
Full back Stuart Reardon has ruptured his Achilles' tendon and looks set to miss the rest of the season.
Paul Johnson has collected knee ligament damage and is unlikely to figure in Wolves' clash against Wigan Warriors at the JJB Stadium on Friday.
And Chris Riley, who came off the bench to replace Reardon at full back, has injured his ankle ligaments.
Martin Gleeson was a late withdrawal from the game due to the effects of a virus.
Rob Parker was a surprise absentee from the 17 and it was later revealed he has a rib injury.

say what you want lads ! the team needs a new coach ! we have a majority of exellent players at hand but they are ticking over not bothered because cullen cant coach a full team as well as other top coaches ! not another stab at cullen as ive said for 2 seasons were not going anywhere wembley or old trafford under his leadership and im not being proven wrong , we pull the odd surprise now and again against the odd big club and all is forgiven and off we go again new coach new start and maybe new silverware and ill plaster the display room for free hows that !

Talking of injuries, which I think this thread started out with, can we not cancel the contracts of those who are going to be out for the rest of the season, and who might not be here next year? That would release cash to bring in replacements. Are Bridge and Reardon ever going to be fully fit again? And we need to start thinking of an understudy for Briers, and quickly if Grix proves incapable. Is it not time to start blooding more of the youngsters, one by one, in SL and giving them a chance to prove whether they have the potential to move up to the first team? Save us some money too.
