Warrington Wolves prop forward Paul Wood had overnight surgery

PAUL Wood is out of hospital after overnight surgery that followed the Super League Grand Final loss at Old Trafford.

The Wolves prop caught a knee in the groin early in the second half and has had a testicle removed after it ruptured.

Ouch! noticed woody crouching early on 2nd half thinking he'd done his groin, never entered my mind he had gone on a diet.

I would have liked to see some of the prima donna's that usually play at that ground play on for a full half of a match with an injury like that, get well soon woody
