LESS than 1,000 tickets from Warrington Wolves' allocation are still available for Saturday night's historic Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.

That means a primrose and blue army of at least 22,000 hoping to cheer Warrington to their first championship in 57 years - completing the Challenge Cup double in the process.

It shows that the extraordinary effort by the Wolves players to make it to the showdown with Leeds Rhinos has been matched by the fans.

And with strong ticket sales reported from Leeds, too, a possible Old Trafford sell-out is on the cards.

Wolves' chief executive Andy Gatcliffe said: "Yet again our ever-loyal Primrose and Blue fans - the best in Super League - will be turning out in their thousands like we knew they would do.

"This means that the atmosphere at Old Trafford - the Theatre of Dreams - will be very special for the first Wolves' Grand Final.

" Enjoy the occasion and shout loud for your Warrington Wolves!"

Tickets are still available from the ticket office at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. Various prices are still available, though limited in certain areas.

The RFL are taking orders online at rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk and by phone on 0844 8561113.
