Coach Tony Smith milks Warrington Wolves' win against St Helens

TONY Smith would not allow a forthcoming top-two battle with Wigan Warriors detract from his team's success against fellow fierce rivals St Helens last night.
Journalists asking questions about Saturday's clash at The Halliwell Jones Stadium were politely rebuffed after a class display earned Wolves their first win on St Helens soil for 18 years.
"I think it's important we talk about this game," said Wolves' head of coaching and rugby, who will give the media the chance to ask questions about the Wigan game later in the week.
"We've had to suffer at the defeat of St Helens in this part of the world quite a bit so we want to milk a little bit of this if you don't mind.
"We had a pretty dismal record at Knowsley Road, but we've got a pretty good record at Langtree Park (one game, one win) so we want to get the most out of that.
"It was a good job well done.
"I'm pleased with most aspects of it. I thought we were pretty good in our attack and we carried out a plan fairly well.
"We executed some of it exceptionally and some other things we needed to finish off better.
"Defensively we were very good as well. I thought we only had one or two lapses and when we did that Saints took their opportunities.
"They didn't get many opportunities - I thought we covered them pretty well. They were on the money defensively."
