ALL three Wolves players in the England squad will start against Exiles in International Origin Game Two on Wednesday night.

Stefan Ratchford has been named at full back on his senior debut, with Ryan Atkins at left centre and Garreth Carvell in the front row.

Wolves' Trent Waterhouse has been left out of the Exiles squad that has been trimmed down to 21, but winger Joel Monaghan and skipper Brett Hodgson are in line to play.

England coach Steve McNamara confirmed today that Danny Brough of Huddersfield Giants and Salford City Reds' Matty Smith will form a new-look half-back partnership.

St Helens back-row Jon Wilkin will captain the team after Jamie Peacock’s retirement.

“We have a young, hungry side that will take on the Exiles on Wednesday,” said McNamara.

“We have made a number of changes from the first game and it is an exciting opportunity to see some real quality young players coming in and staking a claim for a regular place in the side.”

The Exile games should be played at the end of the season and not in the middle of the normal season when teams are trying to secure a top eight finish or still in the challenge cup. I am sure most fans would agree that they don't to loose players for what you can only call practice games. The Grand Final is what most teams want to win and what the fans want to see, not some mickey mouse fixtures that really have little appeal in the middle of the season.
