WARRINGTON Wolves will have four players starting the International Origin match between England and the Exiles at Langtree Park on Saturday, kick off 6.45pm.

England boss Steve McNamara has named Ryan Atkins, returning to the England set-up for the first time since October 2010, inside of Leeds’ experienced winger Ryan Hall on the left flank, while teammate Garreth Carvell will start on the bench.

Exiles boss Daniel Anderson has chosen to utilise all of the Warrington Wolves options in his starting XIII, naming captain Brett Hodgson at full back, Joel Monaghan on the right wing and Trent Waterhouse at loose forward as his side look to grab a second International Origin win following last year’s success.

Former St Helens coach Anderson said: “It’s a good team and it’s been a good week.

“We’ve had a few hurdles to get over to get to an 18 man squad, it’s been difficult with injuries making players unavailable, but we’ve settled on this squad and they’ve come together really well.”

“We’ve got a strong pack and indeed a strong bench.

“We’ve confident that we have a team who can dig in and do well in the emotional component of the game.

“We’ve certainly got the talent.

“There are a lot of boys here who are keen to showcase what they’ve got.

“They’re from different clubs at different places in the Super League table but they are all still top Rugby League players and I think they can show that for the Exiles.”

England boss Steve McNamara endured similarly difficult choices when selecting his squad to face Exiles on Saturday.

“It has been a really tough decision in naming the 17,” said he said.

“The make-up of the side looks very exciting, with the right blend of youth and experience.

“We are expecting a major test against the Exiles and the intensity, if last year’s match is anything to go by, will be like playing a test match against Australia or New Zealand.

“The fans will be in for a treat seeing the best players in our domestic competition go at it for the full 80 minutes. It will be a terrific contest.”

Tickets for both matches in the International Origin Series are now on sale and can be purchased through the RFL Ticket office on 0844 856 1113 or by visitingwww.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
