TEAM NEWS: Morley starts on the bench against Vikings
3:18pm Saturday 26th May 2012 in Wolves news By Christopher Terris Taylor
Adrian Morley makes his first return for six weeks following a neck injury
WOLVES boss Tony Smith has named returning captain Adrian Morley among his substitutes for the Magic Weekend clash with 'derby' rivals Widnes Vikings, kick off 4pm.
Morley has missed the last six weeks with a neck injury and makes his first team return against a Widnes side looking to end a losing streak stretching back seven matches.
Simon Grix, having spent the last few weeks deputising as a hooker off the bench, gets his first start in the position this season, with regular number nine Micky Higham rested and under 20s hooker Brad Dwyer returning to the bench.
Stefan Ratchford makes the move from half back to full back in the absence of Brett Hodgson, with Lee Briers returning to the halves alongside Gareth O'Brien after being rested last week.
There are also returns for Joel Monaghan and Trent Waterhouse after a week's rest, with Ben Westwood left out after his long stint against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats last weekend.
For Widnes, on loan stand off Joe Mellor is fit to start after an injury scare, while captain Jon Clarke starts for the first time against his former club, having missed the 46-12 loss to Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium earlier this season.
Wolves: Stefan Ratchford; Chris Riley, Ryan Atkins, Matty Blythe, Joel Monaghan; Lee Briers, Gareth O'Brien; Chris Hill, Simon Grix, Garreth Carvell, Trent Waterhouse, Tyrone McCarthy, Ben Harrison. Subs: Adrian Morley, Mike Cooper, Ben Currie, Brad Dwyer.
