TEAM NEWS: Smith names unchanged side for Bulls cup clash

WOLVES boss Tony Smith has named an unchanged side from last week's comfortable victory against Castleford Tigers to take on Bradford Bulls in the fifth round clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 2.40pm.

Wolves strolled to a 54-6 Super League win over Ian Millward's Tigers last week, and Smith has kept the faith in the hope that the same XIII can take Wolves one step close to Wembley at the expense of Mick Potter's Bulls.

As suspected there is no return to action for Michael Monaghan, who is still suffering following his double knee surgery several weeks ago, but there is also no place for young hooker Brad Dwyer on Smith's heavy duty bench, which includes Ben Harrison, Simon Grix, Garreth Carvell and Mike Cooper.

Tyrone McCarthy keeps his place at loose forward, behind a pack that includes second rowers Trent Waterhouse and Ben Westwood, and a front row of Chris Hill, Micky Higham and Paul Wood.

Gareth O'Brien retains his place alongside Lee Briers in the halves, while Smith's lethal back line of Brett Hodgson, Chris Riley, Ryan Atkins, Joel Monaghan and Chris Bridge will hope to continue the fine scoring form they showed in the first half of last week's demolition of their Super League rivals.

Wolves: Brett Hodgson; Chris Riley, Chris Bridge, Ryan Atkins, Joel Monaghan; Lee Briers, Gareth O’Brien; Chris Hill, Micky Higham, Paul Wood, Trent Waterhouse, Ben Westwood, Tyrone McCarthy. Subs: Ben Harrison, Simon Grix, Garreth Carvell, Mike Cooper.

Bulls: Karl Pryce; Adrian Purtell, Elliot Whitehead, Keith Lulia, Shaun Ainscough; Ben Jeffries, Luke Gale; Bryn Hargreaves, Matt Diskin, Craig Kopczak, Olivier Elima, John Bateman, Jamie Langley. Subs: Heath L’Estrange, Danny Addy, Manase Manuokafoa, Tom Burgess.
