WOLVES boss Tony Smith has recalled many of his first team regulars into the squad that will take on Castleford Tigers at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, kick off 3pm.

Following Wolves' 44-18 defeat of Keighley Cougars in the Challenge Cup last week -a game in which Smith rested several of his first team players and handed rare appearances to a number of under 20s players- Smith has named Simon Grix, Adrian Morley, Brett Hodgson and Ryan Atkins in the strengthened squad to face Ian Millward's Tigers on Sunday.

Of the under 20s players who took part in the Challenge Cup last week, hooker Brad Dwyer keeps his spot in the 19, due to the fact that Michael Monaghan is not expected to return from injury (knee) for at least another week.

Gareth O'Brien also retains his place, replacing the injured Richie Myler (abductor strain), and is expected to partner Lee Briers in the halves.

Wolves' 19-man squad to face Castleford: Ryan Atkins, Matty Blythe, Chris Bridge, Lee Briers, Mike Cooper, Brad Dwyer, Simon Grix, Ben Harrison, Micky Higham, Chris Hill, Brett Hodgson, Tyrone McCarthy, Joel Monaghan, Adrian Morley, Gareth O'Brien, Chris Riley, Trent Waterhouse, Ben Westwood, Paul Wood.
