PETA Hiku has been confirmed as a New Zealand Warriors player after being granted an early release from his Wolves contract.
The Auckland-based side confirmed the 24-year-old centre’s arrival on a three-year deal today.
Hiku announced he would be leaving The Wire at the end of 2017 after their victory over Leigh on September 9.
He leaves The Halliwell Jones Stadium having scored tries in each of his past eight appearances for the club and with a record of 10 tries in 11 appearances for the club.
Hiku will be in action at the Rugby League World Cup later this month as he was chosen as part of the New Zealand squad last week.
