Price was confirmed as Tony Smith’s replacement at The Halliwell Jones Stadium earlier, signing a two-year deal.

Full lowdown on Wolves' new head coach
Cooper worked briefly under Price at St George Illawarra Dragons during his first year in Australia, but an indifferent start to the season saw him part company with the club 10 games into the 2014 season.
However, the Wolves prop feels that experience has not diminished Price’s coaching ability and feels he will bring “energy and enthusiasm” to the club.
“People who watch the NRL a lot will know all about who Steve is. He’s the right man for the job,” he said.
“He’s a great bloke and has a lot of energy and enthusiasm around the training pitch. He demands a lot from his players but in the right way.
“I only got to work with him for a pre-season and a few games, but I was impressed with what he was trying to do.
“He had a tough act to follow at St George, coming off the back of a Premiership win and a lot of players retiring.
“It probably wasn’t the right time for him there but he’ll bring us some fresh ideas and we’re all excited to have him.
“The style of coach he is will be a good fit for the players and staff we already have here. I think he can add a lot to the club.”
