WOLVES continue to be linked with new faces for the 2018 season, with the latest being Salford Red Devils star Ben Murdoch-Masila.
Several reports claim The Wire are close to agreeing a deal to bring the 26-year-old powerhouse to The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Tongan international would certainly add power to a Wolves pack that appears light on numbers following the departures of Ashton Sims, Joe Westerman and Andre Savelio.
Murdoch-Masila, who was named in this year’s Super League Dream Team having scored 16 tries for the Red Devils, is also believed to be interesting newly-promoted Hull Kingston Rovers.
Wolves appear to be stepping up their recruitment drive after today confirming the signing of Bryson Goodwin from Leigh Centurions.
The club have still not confirmed who will be their head coach next year, with former St George Illawarra boss Steve Price said to be a strong favourite, but are said to be close to completing several new signings.
One of them is thought to be Gold Coast Titans playmaker Tyrone Roberts, who The Wire have been tracking for some time and is off-contract with the Queensland club.
