SIMON Grix's return to play against his former club Warrington Wolves is still on the cards.
The loose-forward's early guilty plea to a grade A dangerous contact charge from Sunday's home defeat to Widnes Vikings has served him well.
Grix, made 179 appearances for The Wire between 2006 and 2014, will face no further action and it means he is available to head coach Richard Marshall for selection against The Wire in the Middle 8s contest at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, kick off 3.15pm.
However, Fax's former Super League full-back Will Sharp has not been so fortunate in front of the Independent Operational Rules Tribunal this evening.
After pleading guilty to a brade B tripping charge he has received a one-match ban and £100 fine.
