MATTY Russell will undergo a fitness test to decide whether or not he will return to the Wolves side to face former club Wigan on Thursday.
The Scotland outside back was named in Tony Smith’s 19-man squad for the game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium despite missing Saturday’s defeat to Salford with a back injury.
Smith said his condition has improved since then but must pass a final check before being cleared to play.
Prop Dom Crosby was left out of the 19-man squad as he has been given time off after his partner gave birth on Saturday afternoon.
