WOLVES boss Tony Smith says he is “hopeful” Kevin Brown and Ben Westwood will be fit to play in Saturday’s World Club Series clash with Brisbane Broncos.
However, the news is not so positive for centre Toby King, who will miss the game and the next three or four weeks with a hamstring strain.
A similar problem has so far prevented England stand-off Brown from making his Wolves debut, while Westwood faces a fitness test after his recovery from pectoral and shoulder surgery.
Like King, prop Dom Crosby left the field early in Saturday’s 20-12 defeat at Catalans Dragons and he requires a test on his head knock to determine his participation.
