MIKE Cooper played against Broncos several times during his three years at St George Illawarra Dragons and says a win is vital not just for Warrington Wolves but for Super League as a whole.

He also says the periods at the start of each half are when Brisbane tend to thrive.

“It will be interesting to see how they cope with the weather," he said about Saturday's first ever meeting between the two clubs in this year's World Club Series.

“You have got to remember as well that they are only a third of the way through their pre-season.

“They won’t have played a game yet so hopefully we catch them at a good time and it’s really important for our game over here that we get a win.

“They are obviously a quality side, they start really fast in every game.

“The first 10 to 15 minutes will be really important for us as they like to bring a rush on you early doors.”

“They really come out of the blocks at the start of each half and put it on you.”
