NEW Wolves signing Kevin Brown has been included in Tony Smith’s squad for the annual Christmas friendly against former club Widnes Vikings.
Brown spent four seasons with Denis Betts’ side, captaining them for the last two, before joining The Wire last week.
A potential early return to his former side for Brown is likely to create plenty of interest in the fixture, which takes place at the Select Security Stadium on Tuesday, December 27, kick off 3pm.
Other senior players included in the 24-man squad include Ryan Atkins, Ashton Sims and Joe Westerman, while new signings Dom Crosby and Andre Savelio could get their first taste of action in primrose and blue.
They are joined by a mixture of reserve and academy players to complete the squad.
Wolves won last year’s festive friendly against their neighbours as they cantered to a 40-0 triumph.
Full Wolves squad: Ryan Atkins, Matty Blythe, Kevin Brown, Dominic Crosby, Rhys Evans, Lewis Hatton, Jack Hughes, Jack Johnson, Ryan Jones, Benjamin Jullien, Declan Kay, George King, Toby King, Tom Lineham, Harvey Livett, Lee Mitchell, Pat Moran, Joe Philbin, Joe Ryan, Andre Savelio, Ashton Sims, Morgan Smith, Joe Westerman, Sam Wilde.
