WOLVES continue to be linked with a move for Widnes Vikings skipper Kevin Brown as a replacement for Chris Sandow.

If reports in the Australian media are to be believed, The Wire have agreed a transfer fee with Vikings for the 32-year-old England international.

Wolves are keeping their cards close to their chest, but speculation of a move for the half-back has continued to grow since the middle of the week.

Since Sandow walked out on the club last week, Wolves have been linked with a number of potential half-back partners for Kurt Gidley.

The likes of Todd Carney and George Williams have been linked, but it appears Tony Smith has settled on Brown, who was linked with a move to St Helens earlier in the off-season.

The former Wigan and Huddersfield man has been with the Vikings since 2013 and his form led to a recall to the England squad for the Four Nations.
