WOLVES back Matty Russell has been named in the Scotland squad for the upcoming Four Nations tournament.

The Ayrshire-born 23-year-old, who has five caps for his country, is included in coach Steve McCormack’s 24-man squad for games against Australia, England and New Zealand.

Russell represented Scotland in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup but has not featured for the Bravehearts since.

Several Super League and NRL players will join Russell in McCormack’s squad, including Huddersfield’s Danny Brough, Wigan’s Lewis Tierney and North Queensland Cowboys duo Lachlan Coote and Kane Linnett.
