WARRINGTON Wolves and Wigan Warriors will face off for the title honour at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 8, in a repeat of the 2013 Grand Final.
Wigan dispensed with Hull 28-18 in the second semi final this evening courtesy of an Anthony Gelling try two minutes from time.
Hull were trailing 14-0 at half time but gave Shaun Wane's side a fright by battling back and taking the lead before tries from hooker Sam Powell and then Cook Islands international Gelling sealed a fourth successive Grand Final appearance for the Cherry and Whites.
Wolves led the Pie Eaters 16-2 in the 2013 decider at Old Trafford before match-ending injuries changed the complexion of the game and Wigan were ruthless in taking advantage.
Tony Smith's men have beaten Wigan twice this season but the last time the two sides met a fortnight ago at The Halliwell Jones Stadium the visitors fought back from 28-14 behind to win 35-28.
