London Broncos u19 12 Warrington Wolves u19 58

WOLVES’ under 19s bounced back from a disappointing defeat at Leeds with a comprehensive win over London Broncos in Ealing on Sunday.

Harvey Livett and Jack Fox both scored hat-tricks as Lee Briers’ youngsters ran in eleven tries, with Livett also kicking seven goals.

Lewis Turner scored twice while Hugh Adams, Declan Kay and Liam Aspin completed a convincing scoreline.

After Kay put Turner over on the right wing in the second minute, the hosts responded well and took the lead with tries from Kameron Pearce-Paul and Sadiq Adebiyi.

However, that would be the last time Broncos troubled the Wolves defence and Livett soon equalised with his first effort of the afternoon.

Debutant Adams forced his way over on the left to give Wolves the lead before Livett crossed from dummy-half as The Wire built a hefty lead.

Kay linked into the line to score on the left as Wolves went into the break with a 26-12 advantage, but they stepped on the gas further after the break.

Fox took advantage of two great pieces of skill by Livett for his first two tries before substitute Aspin burrowed over close to the posts.

Livett again found Fox on the left and he completed his hat-trick and the half-back wasn’t far behind him as he went in between the posts to secure his own treble.

Turner then doubled his tally with the last play of the match to seal a big win and Briers said he was pleased with his side's response to the Leeds defeat.

"It is never easy coming down here but the boys showed a great attitude and got what they deserved," he said.

"We had worked really hard during the week in training and they took that into the game and made it really difficult for London.

"It was a really good all-round team effort but it was particularly pleasing to see Hugh Adams have a very assured debut."
