WE have come to the end of our second fans’ survey.

It is early days but the feedback so far has been very positive.

They like the changes we have made, even those who were sceptical around the rebranding last year, the new membership system has gone down well and the customer service in our new retail shop is much improved.

We have gone from getting three out of 10 to nine which is pleasing.

But there are still things that need fixing and improving from customer service to our food and beverage and the toilets – 77 new hand dryers have been going in this week.

There will always be things to improve, as there is in every business. But it is great to see the fans being so involved.

We are coming to a very busy time of the season, with crucial games against Hull, Catalans and the cup quarter final, all on Friday nights.

The big thing fans told us was that they didn’t like Thursdays.

They are bad for families and the local economy. So it is good the games with Hull and Catalans have been moved to a Friday in that sense.

But we do understand it is frustrating for fans who had already made holiday plans or other arrangements to see these games moved.

We have a run now of five or six games in a row on Sky which is good for our profile, but not always good for supporters.

We are hoping that we get big crowds behind us in those games so we can consolidate our position in the top four and go on a cup run.

It is a cliche but we want to turn The Halliwell Jones into a fortress and it is good to have those games at home.

We have a massive game with Widnes at the end of the month, and it would be great to go on a cup run.

We might be in the middle of 2016 but we are already looking to 2017 and beyond on and off the pitch.

We are looking at new contracts and will be launching membership for 2017 earlier than before at Wire Fest, an event in Bank Park, on July 9.

It will be an opportunity to chat to players, have fun and sign up again or become a member for the first time.

It promises to be a busy few weeks to come.
