WOLVES hooker Brad Dwyer looks set to hand his side a further boost by returning from injury in time for Friday evening’s clash with Leeds Rhinos.
The 23-year-old has been absent since suffering an ankle ligament injury in the win over Castleford back in March, an injury which required him to have surgery.
However, head coach Tony Smith has said he will return at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday if he comes through a fitness test.
Smith also confirmed centres Ryan Atkins and Rhys Evans will be back in contention after both missed the Magic Weekend defeat to the Tigers.
Both suffered knocks in the previous week’s defeat at Wakefield, with Atkins coming off with concussion and Evans suffering from neck and shoulder problems.
