RYAN Bailey and Toby King feature in the matchday squad for the first time this season for this weekend’s clash with Castleford Tigers.
The pair, who have been absent all season through injury, are included in head coach Tony Smith’s 19-man squad which sees three changes from last weekend’s defeat at Wakefield.
Morgan Smith, who was originally left out but came into the side when Stefan Ratchford withdrew from illness, is also included, with injured trio Kevin Penny, Ryan Atkins and Rhys Evans the players to drop out.
Tigers coach Daryl Powell has also named his squad for the Newcastle showdown, with half-back Ben Roberts and centre Jake Webster looking set to make their returns from injury.
Ex-Wire captain Joel Monaghan is included and he has fond memories of Magic Weekend, scoring five tries for Wolves against Widnes in their 68-4 win at Manchester's Etihad Stadium in 2012.
Wolves 19: Bailey, Clark, Cox, Currie, Gidley, Hill, Jullien, G King, T King, Lineham, Ormsby, Philbin, Ratchford, Russell, Sims, Smith, Westerman, Westwood, Wilde
Tigers 19: Cook, Crooks, Dorn, Flynn, Gale, Hampshire, Massey, McMeeken, McShane, Millington, Milner, Moors, Monaghan, Patrick, Roberts, Springer, Solomona, Tickle, Webster
