A SIMON Grix Testimonial fun day will be staged at Walton Hall and Gardens on Sunday, June 5, from 10am to 4pm.
Grix, a member of the backroom coaching team at Wolves after 10 years’ service as a player, and his committee have arranged entertainment from music and dancing to touch rugby and the inaugural Foundation mile run, which costs £6 to enter.
There will be sports games, craft stalls, food stalls, a beer tent, tombola, raffle and a chance to soak Wolves players in the stocks.
Younger visitors will be able to play in the Kids Planet area, with games such as hook-a-duck, along with a shaded area for colouring and building blocks.
