ASHTON Sims is expecting big things of himself in his second season with Wolves.

“It will be a little different for me because last year I was a little bit starry eyed,” said the former North Queensland Cowboys prop.

“I didn’t know a lot of the players I was coming up against and the grounds I was playing at.

“Now I’m used to the club, the teams and the grounds we visit.

“I think that makes a difference. You need to know the personnel you’re playing against. As much as you can watch it on video, you’ve got to actually get out there and play against them to know exactly what they’re like.

“I won’t be as blind to all that as I was last year and I’m looking forward to a big year personally.

“It’ll be the same full throttle from me though. It’s the way I play.

“Sometimes it gets me in trouble but I try not to play any other way. It’s the passion. I’m so passionate about this sport and when I get out there I just really love to enjoy myself and try to get a win.”
