Gaz O'Brien (gazobrien22): Always nice to score, Would always trade it for the win, thanks to the fans who stick by us week in, week out. The boys always give 110% for each other. Time to really pull together. That’s always easy when things are going to plan. It’s about being there for each other through the hard times aswell. We have a great bunch of blokes I’m honoured to call my team mates. Wolves #2015

Paris: I personally believe that the referee contributed to some of the ‘bad vibes’ at the game today. He allowed slow plays, messing in the rucks, forward passes, knock on’s , all went by unnoticed. If he could have kept up with the game he would have had full control. This is the reason players get rattled. When this happens, we need to play smarter and today (and most of the season to be honest) we didn’t.

casino soul: garbage, pathetic are the words i would use,we lack a leader as well as a halfback, prop, centre, season ticket sales are going to go well, not on this years showing, recruitment has been terrible the last 2 yrs, sorry but if tony smith cant sort it then he must go, all this problem is his, ok we have injuries but so does every other club, we lack bite, not so long ago we had the best attack/defense now we are terrible in attack and cant defend for toffee, as much as i love wire i can see me picking and choosing my games like everyone else in future, i am not paying my hard earned money to watch this team go through the motions each week, for gods sake do something.

WorkingMum66: LOOK AT THE ! super league table. now LOOK at our remaining fixtures, do the MATHS, will we even MAKE the top 8 ? I hope so for the sake of the club !

dnk: We all need to be logical, yes we are not the team of a few seasons ago but we ate building for the future.Gidley will benefit the youngsters in the team which is one of the reasons we have signed him.Wire’ defence needs to improve Smith has turned the club around since he arrived,i can see the argument re the players at the club when he arrived but Cullen came no where near in his final season with that same group. The board need to decide if they want a superleague winning team or a superleague spot every season.I cant see us becoming the club we were before Simon Moran arriving, hes to savvy for that.Warrington could sign anyone they wanted but it has to be right for everyone.no point bankrupting the club for top NRL players when we have dome good local talent coming through .

Post-match press conference:

Tony Smith: “I was really proud of our defence. We didn’t let in any soft tries, a couple of mistakes around kicks and that’s what you tend to get in those conditions – ricochets, bounces off shins and somebody picks it up.

“We had one or two of those and they got two or three of them.

“Their kicking game was slightly better than ours. That first half we were pleased with our kicking game, particularly after having to soak up a penalty from the kick off when you’re defending on your own line.

“Defensively we were pretty sound there for the most part.”
