WOLVES have injury concerns over both wingers Joel Monaghan and Gene Ormsby resulting from last night’s victory against Dewsbury at The Tetley’s Stadium.
Neither returned to the field after being taken off.
First-team coach Richard Agar revealed how Australian Monaghan’s problems started in the pre-match warm-up.
“Joel felt a little bit of a twinge in his groin in the warm-up,” said Agar.
“So we examined how five minutes before we went out on to the field and he felt alright.
“He just started to feel it pinch a little bit in the opening stages of the game.
“We didn’t feel with the scoreboard at 26-2 there was any need to push him through it.
“Gene got a bit of a head knock and was a little bit groggy.”
It is too early to say if either of them will be available for next Friday's Super League game at Salford Red Devils.
