FANS, players and Tony Smith react to Wolves' loss at St Helens.
Twitter:
Chris Hill (@Chrishilly1987): Always more sore and tired after a lose need fix it up next Friday
Ryan Atkins (@rararyan85): Hope the seagull @benevans108 has a speedy recovery it doesn’t look too promising. “What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger” Remember that!
Ben Evans (@benevans108): Thanks for all the messages, scan today then go from there
Ben Currie (@BenoCurrie): Defo a game for me to forget tonight!, things to improve! Next week can’t come quick enough!
Gareth O’Brien (@gazobrien22): @benevans108 chin up mate feel for ya. Boys will stick by ya pal.
Gareth O’Brien (@gazobrien22): Nice to have @JordanTurner89 screaming “Salad Fingers” at me last night while trying to kick goals.
Micky Higham (@mickyhigham): Sore......
David Brownlee: Need to sort out stand off position, put ratchford with Obrien and Russell at full back
John Knox: Defence needs improved. Kicking game is an ongoing concern but we did have good chances to score in first half. Keep the faith and let’s bring on the giants
Mark Roberts: We must have space in the salary cap..for a decent ball player who can kick??
Martin Wilks: Need someone who can make a tactical kick not just a hoof up the field because it’s the fifth tackle. Russell best at full back. He’s not a play maker, just makes good yards with the ball up his jumper until he gets tackled
Sonia Clarke: Need vast improvement on kicking game
Carl Jeffrey Plumb: Think Russell could switch to stand off with o-Brian

wirematt: All this team is missing is a top class half back.smiths failure to see that will see us come short again.
MikeJT: They have a top half back combination in Bridge and Ratchford. Last season showed that. They just need to be picked in those positions. Russell’s form since moving to the wing means that Ratchford then become “first” choice full-back.
Post-match interview:
Tony Smith: “It ended up with an exciting finish. At 30-12 down we weren’t excited about it, but our boys didn’t give in, that’s the spirit.
“We’ve seen a number of times over the years where Saints have snatched the game from us, we were hoping to do one back to them."
