FEAR not if you're suffering from withdrawal symptoms already at the end of this season as we have compiled our top 14 tries of 2014.

1. It was magic in Manchester in May as Wolves thumped arch rivals Saints at the Etihad. Many highlights but prop forward Chris Hill’s junking run in front of the travelling crowd takes some beating.

Leeds came to town on a Friday night in May and were sent packing 24-6 on ‘heritage night’.

The road to Wembley could barely have started tougher with a trip to Hull KR in April. But a late Roy Asotasi try secured safe passage for the Wolves in a 28-24 win

June’s win over Salford may have been routine. But Chris Hill’s length of the field lung busting run to haul down Junior Sau metres from the try line was a real highlight

It was a really good Friday at home to Widnes in April. Wolves had lost at home to the ‘derby’ rivals last year but  there was to be no repeat with this 44-6 drubbing, with Mike Monaghan at his best

A win in France is rare for most clubs, but Wolves continued their dominance in Perpignan by beating the Dragons on a soaking night in August – Joel Monaghan’s try clinching a 26-24 success

After a bank holiday thumping, 20 coach load of Wolves fans went to Castleford in September for a must-win play-off clash. Gareth O’Brien’s spectacular try was the highlight in a tense 30-14 victory

Wolves long summer winning run extended to double figures, this 72-12 drubbing of London in July included four tries for top scorer Joel Monaghan

Not many fans were there in person after the M62 was closed, but this dramatic win at Hull in torrential rain in July was among the most gusty of the season, typified by Ben Harrison’s touchdown

Any win at St Helens is still sweet, this one was marred by a horrible Simon Grix injury. But Wolves were at their best, winning again at Langtree Park – this time 39-12, with Ryan Atkins racing half the length of the field

It may  have ended in heartbreak, but that Gareth O’Brien try in front of 5,000 wins to put Warrington ahead at Wigan in October still has to be in our highlights list

Not first team, but every ticket was sold for the last, last game at Wilderspool, and there were some great tries from a young under 16s Wolves side to enjoy in May

Warrington Guardian: Try scoring

It looked like the play-off run may have finished before it started in September when Wolves trailed Widnes 18-0. But inspired by a Joel Monaghan hattrick, Wolves came back to win 22-19.

After a shaky start, doubts were raised about Wolves even making the top eight this year. They were dispelled in this mighty 42-10 win over Catalans in May, Micky Higham with one of the best touchdowns on the night
