HAD Warrington Wolves been successful at Wigan last night, Chris Bridge would not have been available for the final at Old Trafford next Saturday.
Centre Bridge limped out of the action late in the first half, leaving Wolves numerically disadvantaged for the third big meeting in a row against Wigan.
Tony Smith revealed details of the injury, following some hamstring and ankle trouble for the former England international earlier this year.
"He's pulled his quad muscle, quite severely.
"He's going to need a fair repair during the off-season."
