WARRINGTON Wolves first-team coach Richard Marshall will be Karl Harrison's replacement in charge of Championship outfit Halifax next season.

With Wolves chief Tony Smith making changes to his backroom team for next season, and former Wakefield head coach Richard Agar coming in as his right-hand man, both Marshall and fellow first-team coach Willie Poching have sought alternative employment from the end of this campaign.

Poching has already been announced as assistant coach to new Hull Kingston Rovers top dog Chris Chester for next season.

Marshall, who had steered Wolves' under 19s team to Grand Final glory in 2012, has history with Halifax as a front rower from his playing days and will hold two positions next season, having already accepted the job as the new England Academy coach too.

The man he replaces at The Shay, Harrison, is the new assistant to former Wolves head coach James Lowes at Bradford Bulls next year.

For the moment though, Marshall remains focused along with Poching on assisting Wolves to reach their third successive Grand Final with a qualifying date against Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium on Friday, kick off 8pm.
