DARYL Clark will be hoping to help his home-town club Castleford Tigers ruin future employers Warrington Wolves’ Grand Final dream tomorrow, Thursday.

Wolves head to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle looking to book a play-offs semi-final spot, but Clark will be desperate to leave the Yorkshire outfit on a high.

The Dream Team hooker will join Tony Smith’s side for next season, but already boasts a win over his prospective boss this year.

The sides last met ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Wembley, where they were beaten in the Challenge Cup final by Leeds Rhinos.

Fielding a weakened team, the visitors succumbed to Wolves in a 48-10 defeat at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

However, it was a different story at Clark’s home ground earlier in the season, where the Tigers put 40 points on the board while Wolves could only manage a single converted try in reply.

The Easter Monday win for Tigers made sure Warrington would not complete a Super League double over Castleford for the first time in three seasons.

Defeat at The Halliwell Jones ended a six-game unbeaten run for the men from the Jungle, who have lost three of their five game since.

They host Warrington after falling to a heavy defeat at St Helens in the qualifying play-offs clash, where they failed to register a point, while Wolves won a sudden death encounter with rivals Widnes Vikings.
