YOUNG forwards Brad Dwyer and Glenn Riley are on their way to London Broncos.

The capital club, relegated from Super League this year, have completed the loan signing of hooker Brad Dwyer and the permanent signing of Glenn Riley from Warrington Wolves for the 2015 season.

Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: “By Glenn and Brad going to London they are going to be exposed to first-grade rugby on a weekly basis which is going to be great for their development. We will be constantly monitoring their progression and performances.”

Dwyer, aged 21, has played 10 first team games this season including and has also spent time on dual registration with Swinton Lions.

Dwyer is keen to join London to develop his game and get more regular game time.

"I'm looking forward to the different challenges that joining London will throw at me," he said.

"Playing regular consistent rugby is something I haven't had and hopefully I'll get. Also moving away from home to London and growing up is an exciting change for me.

"I had a chat with Tony Smith 9Wolves boss) and we both decided that I needed to be playing regular rugby next season and that I was going to struggle getting that at Warrington. After speaking to Joey Grima (London coach) I knew that this would probably be the best move for my development.

"Joey was a big factor for me. When I met with him he got me excited to be a part of what he was aiming to achieve with London, he said all the right things. He was massive on changing the culture into a winning one and it shows in the signings he's made. It's a challenge I'm looking forward to being a part of.

"I'm looking forward to playing with Glenn as we've come up through Warrington together and are close friends so hopefully we'll get some consistent game time together. Joey has signed a number of experienced players for next season so I'm looking forward to playing and learning from them."

Riley, a 21-year-old front rower, has played 12 first team games this season including home and away against the Broncos and has also been on dual registration with Swinton.

Riley is also relishing the opportunity for more regular game time and says that Grima's enthusiasm was key in his decision to move to London.

"I'm really looking forward to joining the Broncos for the year, it's a big opportunity to get some quality game time on a regular basis and with the new structure in place I think it could be an exciting year," he said.

"I was happy to join the Broncos because it's an opportunity to test myself and put me out of my comfort zone. The move will present new challenges both as a player and as a person.

"Joey's enthusiasm and passion was also another big reason why I chose London and the plans he has in place to achieve the winning culture really stood out. There are a lot of experienced players at the club next year so I'm excited to learn from them. I know a few of the signings such as Rhys Williams, Ben Hellewell and Brad Dwyer through playing academy together and look forward to playing alongside them again."

Grima is pleased with the signings saying: "Both these players have been prominent in the Kingstone Press Championship and First Utility Super League," said Grima.

"Coming from the Warrington system under Tony Smith ensures that the standards will be high in both players and they will match the culture we are creating here at the Broncos.

"Both families of the players were invited down to view our training and playing facilities and were impressed by what we had to offer. We welcome their families into the Broncos family.

"I've been impressed by both Brad and Glenn as their level of maturity exceeds their actual age and they will help us build the culture at the Broncos."
