SIMON Grix will have surgery later today or tomorrow after suffering a horror injury playing for Warrington Wolves against St Helens in Super League Round 26 at Langtree Park last night.
An injury update from the club reveals the Ireland international suffered a spiral fracture of both the tibia and fibula in his left leg in the 17th minute as he tried to force his way over for a try.
Wolves have thanked all supporters for their well wishes and say they will be passed on to Simon.
