MORE than 250 players turned out for Warrington Wolves youth department’s half-term sessions.
Players from six community clubs, Burtonwood, Crosfields, Culcheth, Latchford, Rylands and Woolston, had boys in attendance.
The WolfCub and Origins programmes, designed and run by Lee Briers, were a resounding success.
Player performance manager Phil Jones said: “The response has been great and it shows there is some real potential talent in the Warrington area.”
The next two sessions are being held in the Easter holidays, with under 11s and under 13s on April 8 and 15, while the under 12s and under 14s will come together on April 10 and 17.
