BEN Harrison said he was ‘gutted’ to discover that his Super League return faces another long delay.

The Warrington Wolves prop was due to make his return from pre-season surgery against Hull FC, but tore his hamsting two days before the game and now faces up to two further months on the sidelines.

“Five months rehab to get fully fit, for this to happen and find out I’ll need another eight weeks off #nightmare,” he tweeted.

Simon Grix may well be fit to face Salford Red Devils in round five after Smith has said his utility player is ‘one or two weeks away’ from recovery from an ankle injury.

Paul Wood is Wolves’ other injury concern, with the long-serving prop now back in full training after pre-season surgery and fighting to return for the visit of Wigan in two weeks’ time.
