WARRINGTON Wolves’ new signing Roy Asotasi has completed his first training session with his new club, against some familiar faces!

The 32-year-old prop has linked up with Wolves for the first time since they arrived in Sydney for their three-week pre-season training camp on Wednesday, and he pulled on the primrose and blue of Warrington to line up against former club South Sydney Rabbitohs in a training session at the Redfern Oval earlier today, Friday.

The former New Zealand captain tweeted: “Gr8 1st official training back with the new team @wolvesrl jst didn't expect it 2 be against my old team mates! @SSFCRABBITOHS gr8 catchup!”

Souths will not be the only professional sports club that Wolves will train alongside in the forthcoming weeks, with sessions planned with Sydney Roosters, Manly Sea eagles, Canterbury Bulldogs, St George Illawarra Dragons and Australian Rules Football club, the Sydney Swans.

Wolves’ players now have a free weekend to enjoy the sights of Sydney, before getting back to the grind of preparing for the start of the Super League season on February 13.

They arrive back in Warrington on Tuesday, January 28.
