RICHIE Myler has paid tribute to the medical staff who have given him a chance to play in Warrington Wolves’ Grand Final clash with Wigan Warriors on Saturday, kick off 6pm.
A try scorer in Wolves’ 2012 Old Trafford disappointment, the 23-year-old has played just two full games since July after injuring medial ligaments in his right knee.
But an intensive rehabilitation programme has given the former Salford star a chance to retain the spot he occupied in Warrington’s tense semi final victory over Huddersfield last week.
“I have been doing a lot of rehab,” he said.
“The physio staff, Ben Stirling and the others have done a fantastic job to get me to this point.
“It is a credit to them that I am playing at all and now I have played in the semi final I’ve got a chance to be there in the final.
“It was good to be back, my knee held up well, so that was positive.
“We have a big week ahead and I’m not going to let it stop me.”
