Warrington Wolves could welcome Richie Myler back for play-off semi final
RICHIE Myler is expected to be fit for Warrington Wolves' play-off semi final.
Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith revealed after yesterday’s 40-20 play-off victory over Leeds Rhinos that the 23-year-old scrum half should have recovered sufficiently from the medial knee ligament injury that has kept him out of action since the win against Castleford on August 4.
“The good news is that Richie Myler will be available to us for the semi-final if selected,” said Smith.
“Hopefully we haven’t picked up anything new today and I will have some selection headaches coming up.”
Smith also disclosed why Aussie full back Brett Hodgson missed yesterday’s victory at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
“Brett had a tightness in his achilles,” he said.
“He came up a bit sore this week but probably could have played at a pinch.”
