TEAM NEWS: Hodgson misses play-off visit of Leeds Rhinos
2:26pm Saturday 14th September 2013 in Wolves news
WOLVES boss Tony Smith has left Brett Hodgson out of Warrington Wolves’ 17-man squad for the play-off clash with Leeds Rhinos at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 3pm.
Hodgson played in the 14-12 win in France a week earlier and though Smith said there were no injuries from that game, the veteran Aussie full back gives way to Stefan Ratchford at the back.
Ben Harrison and Joel Monaghan return to the starting XIII having missed the trip to Perpignan, with Rhys Evans dropping out of the side to make way for the familiar wing partnerships of Ryan Atkins/Chris Riley and Chris Bridge/Joel Monaghan.
Ryan Bailey is the only change to Leeds Rhinos’ side after missing the impressive 20-6 victory at Wigan last week due to a one-match ban.
Wolves: Stefan Ratchford; Joel Monaghan, Chris Bridge, Ryan Atkins, Chris Riley; Lee Briers, Simon Grix; Chris Hill, Micky Higham, Paul Wood, Trent Waterhouse, Ben Westwood, Ben Harrison. Subs: Adrian Morley, Michael Monaghan, Garreth Carvell, Mike Cooper.
