RYAN Murray from Sherborne St John took two wickets on his Hampshire Academy debut last weekend, but he could not stop his side losing by 101 runs to Lymington in the Southern League Premier Division.
The paceman last year helped Old Basing into Hampshire League County One.
In the same division, Basingstoke-based cricketers Adam Rouse (72) and Darren Rouse (22) helped St Cross Symondians to maintain their perfect start to their Premier Division campaign with a seven-run victory over Ventnor.
