A COMMUNITY rewards campaign which will see a local club, charity or school win £2,000, has been launched by The Chantry Centre.
The campaign, which runs until 30 June, sees 24 local schools and community groups collecting tokens in the centre for their cause.
To earn a token, shoppers need to spend £5 or more in participating stores, then place the token in the token collection box (located opposite Boots) for the school or community group they wish to support.
The school or group with the most tokens at the end of the campaign wins.
The participating organisations have to nominate what they would spend the money on if they won.
Some of these nominations have included developing a playground to include a wildlife area and outside learning environment and purchasing a range of sensory and relaxation equipment for use by disabled and additional needs children.
